By: LAUREN KAY
Date: Aug 21, 2017

Meet Camille A. Brown & Dancers, a dance-theatre company that tells stories about current experiences and political views through social dance, tap, ballet, hip-hop, modern and jazz. The troupe is well known for its evocative pieces such as BLACK GIRL: Linguistic Play, a celebration of African-American womanhood which ran at the Joyce and Jacob's Pillow. Brown has also choreographed shows on Broadway, including Once on This Island. Get a taste of her work by watching our documentary short.
