TDF's annual Gala is our largest fundraising event and this year's edition was certainly a night to remember. TDF friends and supporters both old and new came together to celebrate 51 years of making live performance accessible to all. We honored legendary costume designer Bob Mackie and arts advocate and philanthropist Reginald Van Lee. The second annual Founder's Award went to renowned choreographer and director Graciela Daniele, a longtime friend of TDF and former Wendy Wasserstein Project mentor.
After a lovely dinner, there were performances by Stephanie J. Block, Micaela Diamond and Teal Wicks of The Cher Show, Ali Stroker from Oklahoma!, James T. Lane from Kiss Me, Kate and a showstopping climatic performance of "Let It Go" by Caissie Levy from Frozen.
This was also our inaugural TDF Gala REMIX!, a cocktail reception for younger patrons who joined us for the performance portion of the evening. All in attendance came together at the end of the night on the dancefloor with a fun DJ set from Donna D'Cruz.
