Since 1968, TDF has been building audiences and inspiring the next generation of theatregoers through our work, including our school, accessibility and veterans programs and our Autism Friendly Performances. While theatres were dark, TDF continued to serve nearly 100,000 individuals digitally, keeping the power of the performing arts alive throughout the pandemic.
The return of live performances to our city has been truly joyful to watch. But there are still many unknowns about the future, and much TDF must do to help rebuild our beloved performing arts industry. We survived the last 15 months thanks to generous donors, loyal members and significant federal support through the Paycheck Protection Program. However, our next fiscal year, which begins on July 1, will be TDF’s most challenging period yet. As we prepare to reinstate our in-person programs in schools and theatres across New York City, we need YOU to help TDF come back stronger than ever.

Every donation, large or small, makes a difference and supports the vital work TDF does to make theatre and dance affordable, accessible and inclusive for all. We can’t wait to see you in the audience soon!
