Broadway COVID Rules: Masks Encouraged, No Vaccination Checks

The Broadway League has issued updated COVID-19 safety protocols for all 41 Broadway houses:

Proof of Vaccination Is Not Required for Broadway Shows and Masks Are Optional.

Masks are optional but encouraged at Broadway shows. For more information regarding health and safety protocols, please consult the show's official website or the website of the theatre you are planning to visit. See links below.

Rules for Shows Beyond Broadway

No theatres beyond Broadway are checking vaccination status, and very few require masks. Exceptions include The Tank and JACK, which both mandate masks for every performance. A handful of additional theatres hold designed masked performances. Before buying tickets to any event, it's imperative to read the specific rules of the venue or production so you are prepared.
