Step into the world of Shakespearean reality TV with Smith Street Stage's Love's Labor's Lost! When four friends embark on a vow of abstinence in the name of higher learning, their antics are anything but academic. As the drama unfolds against a backdrop of swimming pools and palm trees, watch as their pursuit of love, friendship and fame collide in a whirlwind of courtship rituals, hilarious competitions and unexpected twists—all captured in a reality show-like narrative.

Accessibility:

Directions Bus

The B57 stops right next to the park, and also runs next to wheelchair accessible subway stops at Jay Street MetroTech (A, C, F, R) and Borough Hall (2, 3, 4, 5).

Directions Subway

The closest subway station is the F/G Carroll Stop. If you need an elevator, we advise that you use the one at Jay Street Metro-tech (A, C, F, R, elevator located on northeast corner of Jay and Willoughby Streets). The Borough Hall (2, 3, 4, 5) is also a close subway stop with an elevator.

Parking

We have always found that there is ample parking right next to the park on Carroll Street. It’s a school zone and during the school day the parking on that street is restricted, so normally by 5:30/6 o’clock it is fairly empty.

Restroom

There are 2 bathrooms on either side of the Park House. They will both be available throughout the performance, and are wheelchair accessible.

Wheelchair Info

The park itself is wheelchair accessible, but the neighboring subway (F/G Carroll) is not. If you need an elevator, we advise that you use the one at Jay Street MetroTech (elevator located on northeast corner of Jay and Willoughby Streets) or the Borough Hall (2, 3, 4, 5) stop. Also, as we set chairs out for each performance, please let us know if you’d like us to remove chairs so that you can get the best view of the performance. Please email us at info@smithstreetstage.org 24 hours in advance.
