In this new play, several people—lovers, friends, co-workers, some at play, some at work—are in the midst of seemingly normal but life-altering circumstances in the hours before sunrise. New Directions Theater returns after a 10-year absence to present four interwoven stories set in the World Trade Center on the night before September 11, 2001. 9/10 is written by Richard Willett (Triptych, Random Harvest, The Flid Show, Tiny Bubbles, A Terminal Event), directed by Eliza Beckwith, who has worked often at Ensemble Studio Theatre and directed the premieres of many of Richard Willett's previous plays.
