No one mourns for Wicked! That's because, after 15 years on Broadway, Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman's musical about the friendship between the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good is still going strong. In honor of this thrillifying anniversary, NBC aired the hour-long concert special A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway hosted by the show's original stars: Idina Menzel, who won a Tony for her gravity-defying turn as Elphaba, and Kristin Chenoweth, who became even more popular as Galinda. They were joined by the show's current Broadway cast, plus a cappella divas Pentatonix, Adam Lambert, Ledisi and Wicked superfan Ariana Grande, for an evening of songs from and stories about this global phenomenon.
