Stephen Sondheim may be gone but he still has many fans and friends, including Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga. The two Tony Award winners are headlining the new revue Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, which will have a limited run on Broadway this spring courtesy of Manhattan Theatre Club. The stage legends spoke to TDF about the connection they feel to Sondheim—and to each other—through the maestro's music.
