Gregg Edelman and Paul Alexander Nolan on the thrill of running away with the circus on Broadway
---
Even though Paul Alexander Nolan and Gregg Edelman are costarring in Water for Elephants, the new Tony-nominated musical inspired by Sara Gruen's best-selling book, they don't get to spend enough time together. That's clear when you get these two talking about performing in this exhilarating show about a destitute young man who joins a traveling circus during the Great Depression. Edelman plays the older incarnation of that man, Mr. Jankowski, looking back wistfully on his life, while Nolan portrays two very different ringmasters—one kind, the other less so. We brought these costars together to chat about amusing onstage mishaps, the circus tricks they wish they could do and how getting involved with theatre as kids changed their lives. If you weren't able to tune in live you can watch a recording below. Captions are available.
