In his new solo musical memoir Without You, Rapp recounts his journey with the show and how his breakout role was tempered by loss, including the sudden death of Rent creator Jonathan Larson and the slow demise of his mother. We celebrated the opening night of Without You with a moving conversation between Rapp and his musical director Daniel A.
