Even though in-person theatre and dance are back in full swing, in the name of accessibility we're continuing to round up performances to watch online from the comfort of home. Our curated list spotlights the five best options to stream this weekend, Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29, for free or at low cost.

Othello

Streaming for £7.99, approximately $11.

Bridgerton star Martins Imhangbe plays the title character in this unconventional mounting of Shakespeare's tragedy about jealousy, manipulation and racism. Recorded at London's Riverside Studios last fall, this powerful play features a trio of actors (Michael C Fox, Orlando James and Jeremy Neumark Jones) portraying Othello's nemesis Iago. Sinéad Rushe directs.

Stratford Festival: All's Well That Ends Well

Streaming for £7.99, approximately $11.

Set during World War I, this Stratford Festival production reinvents Shakespeare's problem comedy, as Helena (Jessica B. Hill) will do absolutely anything to land the man she adores. Filmed live on stage in 2022.

MAX: Alex Edelman: Just for Us

Streaming for free to MAX subscribers.

Alex Edelman's Just for Us started downtown and transferred to Broadway where it was filmed for MAX. Now, in addition to his special Tony Award, Edelman just won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special for his hit solo show! For much of his comedy career, Edelman didn't like to get political on stage. But some upsetting anti-Semitic tweets and a public invitation to a white nationalist meeting in Queens prompted him to change trajectory. The result is Just for Us, a hilarious and harrowing one-man comedy about coming face-to-face with hate. It's insightful standup that makes you want to stand up to intolerance everywhere.

My Favorite Things: The Rodgers & Hammerstein 80th Anniversary Concert

Streaming on multiple platforms for various prices.

Last December, musical theatre stars from both sides of the pond gathered at London's Theatre Royal Drury for a special, one-night-only concert celebrating the songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein. Now the performance is available to stream on multiple platforms. If you subscribe to Apple TV+, you can watch it for free, or you can rent it for as low as $5.99 on Amazon. The lineup includes six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald, Moulin Rouge! The Musical Tony winner Aaron Tveit, two-time Tony nominee Patrick Wilson, three-time Olivier Award winner Maria Friedman, two-time Olivier Award winner Michael Ball and Olivier nominee Julian Ovenden, plus special guests Rita Moreno and Andrew Lloyd Webber. A glorious, 40-piece orchestra accompanies the performers.

Kinky Boots

Streaming on Broadway On Demand for $10.

Everybody say, "Yeah, yeah!" Catch the exuberant West End production of Kinky Boots starring Olivier Award winner Matt Henry as drag diva Lola, who helps shoe manufacturer Charlie (Killian Donnelly) inject some fabulousness into his factory. Although the musical examines serious subjects such as homophobia and father-son estrangement, it's mainly a celebration of friendship and being true to yourself, with catchy songs by Cyndi Lauper and a heartfelt book by Harvey Fierstein.
