Even though in-person theatre and dance are back in full swing, in the name of accessibility we're continuing to round up performances to watch online from the comfort of home. Our curated list spotlights the five best options to stream this weekend, Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 22, for free or at low cost.

Live from 54 Below: Patrick Page and Perla Batalla: Looking for Leonard

Live-streaming on Saturday, September 21 at 7 p.m. ET for $28.50.

Hadestown Tony nominee Patrick Page and contralto powerhouse Perla Batalla are longtime friends as well as fans of the late, great Leonard Cohen. Batalla began her career as his backup singer and Page's gravelly voice is frequently compared to Cohen's. After releasing a tribute album to the singer-songwriter, Page and Batalla reunite for this celebratory concert featuring Cohen's music and poetry along with personal stories about his impact on their lives and careers. Streaming live from the cabaret hub's swanky stage. If you prefer to attend in person, click here for info.

Live-streaming on Sunday, September 22 at 7 p.m. ET for $28.50.

Singer-songwriter Jaime Lozano, dubbed "the next big thing" by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and his wife, vocalist Florencia Cuenca, celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a concert of iconic Broadway songs performed in Spanglish. Hear fresh and fabulous takes on numbers from Hamilton, Waitress, Disney's Frozen and other blockbusters, newly arranged by Lozano and played by the Mariachi Real De Mexico. Red Bull Theater: The Beast of Hungary

Streaming until Sunday, September 22 for $30.

NYC's Red Bull Theater, which revitalizes undersung classics, presented an in-person reading of Lope de Vega's The Beast of Hungary earlier this week and you can watch a recording through Sunday. A Hispanic Golden Age classic, this proto-feminist comedy is about a queen banished to the wilderness by her usurper sister. As revenge, the queen kidnaps her niece and raises her as a feral creature who yearns for love. This exploration of female sexuality and social mores was wildly ahead of its time.

In 2020, London's lauded National Theatre launched its own streaming service featuring professional stage captures of its productions.
