Even though in-person theatre and dance are back in full swing, in the name of accessibility, we're continuing to round up performances to watch online from the comfort of home. Our carefully curated list spotlights the five best options to stream this weekend, Friday, July 28 to Sunday, July 30, for free or at low cost.

Live From 54 Below: Sondheim Unplugged

Live-streaming on Sunday, July 30 at 7 p.m. ET for $25

Enjoy the latest installment of Sondheim Unplugged, a stripped-down concert series celebrating the late songwriting legend. Talented vocalists croon Sondheim tunes accompanied solely by piano alongside special guests Ramona Mallory from 2009's A Little Night Music revival and Javier Ignacio from the gender-swapped mounting of Company. Gingold Theatrical Group: Candida

Last fall, master George Bernard Shaw interpreter David Staller and his Gingold Theatrical Group presented an effervescent mounting of the playwright's romantic comedy Candida and now you can watch a recording at home. Penned in response to Ibsen's A Doll's House, it's the tale of Reverend James Morell and his wife Candida, a well-to-do couple whose lives are upended when they take a radical young poet into their home. Reset from London 1894 to Harlem 1929, this is multicultural mounting of a masterpiece.

Ice Factory: here i fall up

Streaming until Saturday, August 12 for $20
Attention avant-garde theatre lovers: After three decades, the New Ohio Theatre is closing, which means this is the final Ice Factory ever. This Obie-winning fest is all about emerging artists taking risks, with NYC companies invited to present their latest works in progress over four days. The subjects are timely and the offerings diverse, and the second performance of each show will also be live-streamed, with a recording available through the last day of the festival. This week, you can watch here i fall up online, a ghost story folk musical about a girl navigating her relationships with her sisters, her lover and a spirit.

Teatro Real: Philip Glass - The Perfect American

All Arts presents The Perfect American, Philip Glass' 2013 opera based on Peter Stephan Jungk's novel of the same name about the final months of Walt Disney's life. Performed in English, the work was commissioned by the Teatro Real de Madrid and London's English National Opera. Captions are available.
