Our curated list spotlights the five best options to stream this weekend, Friday, February 7 to Sunday, February 9, for free or at low cost.

The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl

Starts streaming Friday, February 7 to Disney+ subscribers for free.

You can feel the love Friday night when The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl starts streaming on Disney+. A recording of last year's 30th anniversary concert celebrating Disney's beloved tale of Simba, a lion cub who just can't wait to be king, the performance features original voice actors from the 1994 animated movie, such as Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, Lebo M. and Ernie Sabella, alongside stars from the blockbuster Broadway musical and subsequent movies, including Billy Eichner and Heather Headley plus special guest Jennifer Hudson. A 70-person orchestra, skillful dancers, and eye-popping puppets and projections make this a magical musical experience.

PBS Great Performances: Anything Goes Starring Sutton Foster

Streaming until Friday, February 28 for FREE.

PBS Great Performances presents Sutton Foster in Cole Porter's effervescent musical comedy Anything Goes, which was recorded live on stage in London in 2021. After winning a 2011 Tony Award for her brassy performance as nightclub singer Reno Sweeney in director-choreographer Kathleen Marshall's critically acclaimed revival of this classic, Foster reprised the role on the West End opposite Felicity Kendal, Gary Wilmot and Tony winner Robert Lindsay. Marshall again oversaw this zany tale of romance and intrigue on the high seas featuring iconic songs, including "I Get a Kick Out of You," "You're the Top" and the title tune.
