Tony-nominated writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice discuss their harmonious collaboration
Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice are funny guys, but that's no surprise to Jersey Boys fans. The two earned Tony nominations for their clever book to the hit musical about The Four Seasons, taking a Rashomon-style approach to the band's evolution with every member getting a chance to tell his side of the story. Jersey Boys recently resumed performances at Off Broadway's New World Stages, so we reunited these longtime collaborators to chat about their careers in theatre and beyond. Join TDF on Friday, December 3 at 1 p.m. ET on our Facebook page or YouTube channel for an illuminating conversation with these witty fellows as they discuss how they met (the late, great director Stanley Donen was involved!), share details about the upcoming Jersey Boys Live! stream starring Nick Jonas and even change one of our questions so they can talk about what they want to—we're honored to be edited by them! Captions will be available.
