Although Melvin Franklin of The Temptations and Motown icon Mary Wilson didn't date in real life, their characters do in Broadway's Ain't Too Proud. It's an inspired bit of dramatic license considering the incredible chemistry between the actors playing those parts: Jawan M. Jackson and Taylor Symone Jackson. Both are original cast members of the Broadway blockbuster chronicling the tuneful but tempestuous life and times of The Temptations. While they miss their beloved show and have some hilarious anecdotes about onstage mishaps and overzealous fans, they also believe the shutdown is sparking necessary changes in the theatre industry.
