NYC theatre-makers Daniella Topol, Erez Ziv and Cameron Cueva Clarke on why they're steaming in-person shows to at-home audiences
---
Initially, theatre companies began presenting virtual shows out of necessity because of the pandemic. But even though performance venues are reopening, some are continuing to stream their in-person productions to at-home viewers. In our latest TDF Conversation, three prolific NYC artistic directors, Daniella Topol from Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Erez Ziv from Frigid New York and Cameron Cueva Clarke from Company of Fools, discuss why they're putting their stage shows online, the challenges of producing hybrid theatre, and how Off-Off Broadway companies are expanding their audiences (and the artists they work with) by continuing to embrace streaming. TDF's Andrew Block moderates this timely conversation about the future of theatre. Tune in Wednesday, August 4 at 3 p.m. ET on TDF's YouTube channel or our Facebook page. Captions will be available.
