Meet three leaders who are helping transform the culture of the theatre industry

Although Bliss Griffin, Chloe Beck and Christina Alexander have different job titles, all three are working toward a common goal: a more inclusive, healthy and happy Broadway. That's no small task, but these empathetic and insightful women are up to the challenge. The field of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) has long been important. However, the theatre industry's pandemic-induced intermission coupled with demands to address systemic racism and inequity caused many companies and productions to start walking the walk, with the understanding that it's going to be a rocky, ever-evolving journey. Join TDF this Friday, March 18 at 1 p.m. ET on our Facebook page or YouTube channel as we bring together DEI leaders Chloe Beck, Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Moulin Rouge! The Musical; Christina Alexander, Director of Social Responsibility at Wicked; and Bliss Griffin, Diversity & Inclusion Strategist at Actors' Equity Association for a thoughtful and honest conversation about what they do, why they do it and things all arts organizations can do right now to start the process of becoming more inclusive. TDF's Tyler Riley moderates this urgent discussion. Captions will be available.
