With more than 100,000 costumes to choose from, the TDF Costume Collection has the perfect outfits and accessories for your next project.
Anyone can rent from the Collection, but not-for-profit organizations receive a discount and a few added perks. Not-for-profits can pull and rent costumes as early as eight weeks before a production opens. For not-for-profit films or photo shoots, we allow pulling and renting of costumes eight weeks before the first shoot date.
All other clients can pull or rent costumes two weeks prior to opening or first shoot date.
Once you start a rental, we cannot refund you for unused costumes. However, you can exchange costumes as many times as you'd like during your rental.
Most customers come to our warehouse to choose costumes in person, but our staff can also do that for you. There are a variety of rental options so please email us for details.
Dry-Cleaning Services and Costs
In order to ensure all costumes are in their best (and cleanest) condition, the Collection requires all costumes to be professionally dry-cleaned. The cost of dry-cleaning is pre-charged at the time of Final Checkout. Most of our costumes can be charged at our bulk dry-cleaning rate of $9 per pound. However, some of our pieces require specialty cleaning (suede, leather, fur, sequins, beading, etc.) and are charged at a per-item rate.
Return of Costumes
All rentals must be returned within 10 days after the project ends. If the costumes are being returned in person, be sure you know the name of the organization listed on the rental form or the rental form number.
If you are shipping costumes to us, be sure to include the organization name or rental form number. It's best if you print and fill out this form and include a copy in every box.
