Caesar Samayoa and Kenita R. Miller reunite to talk about their beloved show

---

When the musical Come From Away opened on Broadway in March 2017, it became an instant critical and commercial hit. Based on real-life stories, the musical is set in Gander, Newfoundland on September 11, 2001, when 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 passengers from every corner of the globe were forced to land in the tiny town. How the community members welcomed and cared for their unexpected guests over the next four days, and how the experience changed the lives of everyone involved, really resonated with audiences—and the actors, too! Stars Caesar Samayoa, who's been with Come From Away since the beginning, and Kenita R. Miller, who joined the production last fall, believe Come From Away's message of resilience, hope and togetherness speaks urgently to our current moment. That's why TDF invited the castmates to reunite for an intimate chat. If you want to hear about their funniest onstage mishaps, how they've been staying creative during the shutdown and what they think the future of theatre looks like, tune in on Tuesday, September 1 at 1 p.m. ET to TDF's Facebook page. Tip: Have tissues handy.
