TDF, the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, is extending the hours of operation at the TKTS by TDF Discount Booths. Beginning Monday, March 16, all three booths (Times Square, Lincoln Center and South Street Seaport) will open at 10 a.m. seven days a week to make obtaining same-day discount tickets to Broadway and Off Broadway shows even easier for theatregoers from NYC and the world over.
Starting Monday, March 16, the new TKTS BY TDF hours are:
TKTS Times Square:
Open daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Same-day evening and matinee performances will be available beginning at 10 a.m. (Formerly, evening performances went on sale at 3 p.m.) This booth also features a Play Only window, a 7-Day Fast Pass window and a full-price same-day and future sales window.
TKTS Lincoln Center and
South Street Seaport:
Open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. These booths sell tickets to next-day matinees as well as same-day evening and matinee performances.
The prices displayed on the boards at all three locations and on the TKTS app (
www.tdf.org/tktsapp) are the discounted rates (50-20% off full price) with all service charges included, so the patron can see exactly what the tickets cost. For some shows there is a range of ticket prices to choose from. Real-time ticket availability can be seen on the TKTS app or online at www.tdf.org/tktslive. For hours and TKTS tips, go to

Locations of the TKTS by TDF Discount Booths: TKTS Times Square (Broadway and 47th Street), TKTS Lincoln Center (in the David Rubenstein Atrium at 61 West 62nd Street) and TKTS Seaport (190 Front street, corner of Front and John Streets).
SPECIAL NOTE: tickets purchased at TKTSbyTDF help build audiences for the future.
Most avid theatregoers know that TKTS offers the best seats at the best price to Broadway and Off Broadway shows. TKTS first opened in Times Square nearly 47 years ago, offering the widest selection of discount tickets. When you purchase tickets at TKTS, you know your seat locations and exactly what you are paying for.
Since TKTS is part of TDF, a larger not-for-profit organization, the $6 per ticket service fee doesn’t just cover the costs of operating the booths. It supports a host of TDF programs that help make theatre accessible to people who otherwise could not attend.
TDF serves a wide range of audiences, including high school and middle school students; people with disabilities such as mobility issues, or hearing or vision loss; families with members on the autism spectrum; and veterans living in the five boroughs. When theatregoers purchase tickets at TKTS, they're not only creating lifelong memories, they're helping to give that experience to others by supporting TDF.
