How to Calculate the Cost of a Costume Rental

TDF Costume Collection inventory is broken into two different groups: Special Stock and Regular Stock.

Special Stock items are typically in pristine condition. They were custom-made by a major New York City designer, have historical value or graced the stage of a high-profile production. Due to their value, these items are priced in a higher bracket.

Regular Stock items are anything not included in Special Stock. They’re typically less valuable but still look stunning on stage. We have a wide array of Regular Stock costumes and accessories to choose from.

Anyone can rent from the Collection, but not-for-profit organizations qualify for a discounted rate. Proof of nonprofit status is required. Everyone else pays regular rental rates.

Please note that the renter is responsible for post-production dry-cleaning charges on top of our rental rates. Additional services cost extra. Please email us with any questions.

Prices are based on number of days from first performance/shoot date until (and including) final performance/shoot date.
1 week = 1-7 days, 2 weeks = 8-14 days, 3 weeks = 15-21 days, 4 weeks = 22-28 days, etc.

The rates listed above are the prices per costume. One costume = what may be logically worn by one person at one time from head to toe. For more specifics, please email us.
