Offering Tickets to TDF Members

Contact

If you are a producer, general manager or company manager and need more information about offering your production to TDF Members, please email Ticket Offers.

Showcase Producers:
If you are producing an AEA Showcase or a show with a face value of $20 or less per ticket please visit our Off-Off@$9 page.

TDF Members:
If you are a TDF Member and are seeking information about tickets, please visit our F.A.Q.s page or email Customer Service for further assistance.

Even the most successful shows occasionally have seats to fill. TDF enables productions to gain revenue from these seats—as well as reach an enthusiastic audience of theatre fans—by offering tickets at a discount to the 90,000-strong TDF Membership.

Shows with an extended preview period may especially benefit from selling to TDF Members, even making papering the house unnecessary. Sales to TDF Members can also help long-running commercial productions that have not received or are no longer receiving TDF Subsidy assistance.

Who Can Participate

  • Fully-produced, scripted theatre productions operating under an Actors Equity Association contract (Production, Off Broadway, LORT, ANTC, LOA and Mini) with an original, full-price tickets being of $21 or more.
  • Dance and music events with an original, full-price tickets being of $21 or more.
  • For all productions, all minimums and/or covers must be waived for TDF ticket holders.
  • AEA Showcase productions and shows with a face value of $20 or less per ticket may be eligible to participate but at a different rate of return. For information on these lower-priced productions, please visit Off-Off@$9.

Please Note: If your production is at Theatre Row or LaMama you must contact the venue and have them submit and manage your listing. Please check with other venues to determine their specific rules. All sales are guaranteed. You must reserve the allocation supplied to TDF. TDF does not list the following: Staged Readings, Lectures, Discussions, etc. TDF assumes all costs of promotion, distribution and fulfillment, so monies received by the theatre represent net income. In order to better serve our members and to support our promise of providing them with significant discounts, TDF reserves the right to remove offers when considerably lower-priced, or free, tickets are widely available through other ticketing services.

How It Works
TDF pays the production a fixed per-ticket rate for all tickets offered. This price varies according to the nature of the production's contract with the Actors Equity Association and the full price of the tickets being offered.

Manifests are sent to the box office on the morning of each event (or Fridays for weekend performances).

TDF pays each box office weekly and checks are mailed on the Tuesday following a week of performances. TDF requests at least 10 tickets per performance and asks that offers be submitted to us at least one week prior to the first performance listed.

How to Participate
Any producer, general manager or company manager may contact TDF by email. Press materials, reviews (if available), promotional artwork, photos, etc. are needed so that an offering can be prepared for our websites.
