NYC's only theatre magazine written by and for high school students, TDF "Play by Play" (PxP), is distributed free in virtually all NYC high schools and all NYC public libraries and online at www.playbyplayonline.org.
ABOUT TDF
Mission Statement:
Theatre Development Fund, a not-for-profit organization, was created with the conviction that the live theatrical arts afford a unique expression of the human condition that must be sustained and nurtured. TDF’s twofold mission is to identify and provide support, including financial assistance, to theatrical works of artistic merit, and to encourage and enable diverse audiences to attend live theatre and dance in all their venues.
TDF History
Created in 1968 to help strengthen Broadway and Off Broadway, in particular serious dramatic plays, TDF has subsidized more than 800 plays and musicals, including 28 Pulitzer Prize winners, and has developed a wide-ranging variety of programs to serve audiences and theatres.
